If your business is already an Alpha Guarantee Bank member, opening a new account’s easy. Head into an advice centre and we’ll have you set up in minutes. Depending on how your business membership was set up, you may need to bring some of your business
partners with you.
If you’re brand new to Alpha Guarantee Bank, step one is to drop by one of our advice centres. Step two is to bring all the necessary documents with you. Depending on your business type, you’ll need to bring the following:
Sole proprietor
- government-issued photo ID
- your social insurance number
- civic/legal address and mailing address, if they’re different
- a current corporate registry profile search
Partnership
- government-issued ID for all signors.
- all owners’ social insurance numbers.
- each owner’s civic/legal address and mailing address, if they’re different.
- a current corporate registry profile search
- your partnership agreement
Corporation
- government-issued ID for all signors
- owners’ addresses, including a legal address if it’s a PO Box
- names and civic addresses of the controlling shareholders
- names of the directors and officers of the corporation
- a current corporate registry profile search
